Marian McPartland On Ingrid Jensen
17 March 2016
“Ingrid plays trumpet and flugelhorn with all the brilliance and fire of a true virtuoso, following the spirit of the muse as she creates…warm, sensitive, exciting, totally honest music” – Marian McPartland
Ingrid was featured on pianist Marian McPartland’s hugely popular Piano Jazz show on NPR back in 2000. The hour-long programme features discussion between Marian and Ingrid as well as some beautiful duets together. They play over Jazz standards such as My Ideal, Chelsea Bridge and Old Devil Moon.
